My 1995 Trek 520 Touring Bike

I rode this bike on a journey From Newark, New Jersey to Bar Harbor, Maine in 1997 at the age of 48. The entire trip was about 700 miles. There were a lot of tough mountain climbs but I rode them all with no “walk-ups”. Unfortunately, this bike was later stolen. I now ride a Specialized Sirrus. When I retire in a couple of years I’m hoping to celebrate by riding the Natchez Trace Parkway.

(Well, I retired in August, 2016 but I don't think my arthritis is going to let me do what I hoped. Getting old is a bitch).
